ARTIST'S STATEMENT
This piece was inspired by the first dahlia to bloom in the new garden at Bank House – the beautiful Café au Lait. Showy yet soft, it felt like a small marker of beginning again; a quiet celebration of beauty, growth and the garden finding its rhythm. I wanted to capture that fleeting moment and turn it into something lasting.
