Our poem inspiration

Oh, to be there to-night!
To see that rose of sunset flame and fade
On ghostly mountain height,
The soft dusk gathering each leaf and blade
From the departing light,
Each tree-fern feather of the wildwood glade.
From arid streets to pass
Down those green aisles where
golden wattles bloom,
Over the fragrant grass,
And smell the eucalyptus in a gloom
That is as clear as glass,
The dew-fresh scents of bracken and of broom.

Scent Notes

Hidden Vale Scented Candles
Mountain Air Accord / Wild Wood / Moss
The warmth of last light on majestic cliffs as shadows come to rest in hidden gullies below. Scatter large and small sizes down the centre of the table amongst the ivy.

Noontide Pure Essential Oil Drops – Bright, earthy, herbaceous. Apply drops to linen napkins for a gentle scent layering experience.

The Botanicals

Above the table, an installation of fresh scented pine, with a scattering of the tiniest fairy lights. Down the centre of the table, we laid fragrant pine needles atop moss-covered stones and wood, lichen on branches and soft green ferns. We then threaded through dark green ivy and topped with sculptural bracken and beeswax tapers in vintage candlestick holders.

On the Table

A forest-green linen cloth topped with vintage green transferware. Italian water glasses in bronze, gold, green and smoke. Rustic linen napkins, vintage crystal glassware and cutlery.

Gifts for Guests

Wild Garden Art Boxes for lovers of magical misty mountain escapes, tied with simple, rustic string. A poetry bookmark (we chose 'On Australian Hills’ printed on art paper and rustic torn edges) tucked in to a simple folded napkin, and adorned with a single fresh bay leaf (or a eucalyptus leaf) and a quick spritz of Sirens Linen Mist or Noontide essential oil drops for scent.

A handwritten note

For sending or keeping, add a vintage postcard to place settings with a lovely note and top with fragrant bay or eucalyptus leaf.
