The process transforms the Blackbutt to a deep, inky black, while allowing the grain and character of the wood to remain beautifully present.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA tiny copper detail is set by hand into each mill — a quiet nod to our village of Rockley’s own gold and copper mining history, and another small connection between object, material and place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 310mm tall, the elongated form is deliberately generous — an everyday kitchen tool designed to have a presence on the bench or table.
